Il credente è una persona aperta, in cammino, che non ha né sicurezze né preclusioni ma si appoggia di giorno in giorno, passo dopo passo, alla parola di Dio, come fecero Abramo e Mosè, di cui oggi leggiamo. Le scelte che Dio fa conoscere sono decisive e ben superiori ai nostri progetti e alle nostre attese.
A partire dalla figura di Abramo siamo posti di fronte alla nostra fede. Viene spontaneo chiederci: siamo credenti davvero e sempre? Oppure siamo tra quelli che pensano alla fede come fonte di vantaggi o di difesa?
