Nous pourrins appeler ce dimanche “ le dimanche de l’Ageau et de l’âne” parce que en ces deux images nous voyons Jésus et le disciple de tout temps. C’est le Prophète qui nous rappelle aujourd’hui la figure de l’Agneau, ce cadeau envoyé à Jérusalem qui garantira réfuge et protection pour tous, même aux Moabites, les ennemis d’Israel.
Comme un ageau doux Jésus entre dans le monde et à Jérusalem pour nous offrir son amour inconditionnel et universel. Il se sert d’un âne pour rappeler les anciennes promesses d’un Messie. Aujourd’hui encore nous sommes appelés à préparer et à réaliser sa venue qui est un poinr de repère pour nous en toute occasion.

We could call it "the Sunday of the Lamb and the donkey", because in these two representations we see the Lord Jesus and the disciple of every time. The figure of the Lamb is recalled today by the Prophet: this gift sent to Jerusalem will guarantee shelter and protection for all, even for the Moabites, enemies of Israel.
Like a meek Lamb, Jesus enters the world and Jerusalem to offer his unconditional and universal love. He uses a donkey to recall the ancient messianic promises with humility. Even today we are called to prepare and realize his coming, doing everything in reference to Him.

Podríamos llamarlo "el domingo del Cordero y el burro", porque en estas dos representaciones vemos al Señor Jesús y al discípulo de todos los tiempos. La figura del Cordero es recordada hoy por el Profeta: este regalo enviado a Jerusalén garantizará refugio y protección para todos, incluso para los moabitas, enemigos de Israel.
Como un cordero manso, Jesús entra al mundo y a Jerusalén para ofrecer su amor incondicional y universal. Utiliza un burro para recordar las antiguas promesas mesiánicas con humildad. Incluso hoy estamos llamados a preparar y darnos cuenta de su venida, haciendo todo lo posible en referencia a él.

Wir könnten diesen „den Sonntag des Lammes und des Esels" nennen, weil wir in diesen beiden Darstellungen den Herrn Jesus und den Jünger aller Zeiten sehen. Der Prophet weist heute auf die Gestalt des Lammes hin: Dieses Geschenk, das nach Jerusalem gesandt wurde, wird allen Zuflucht und Schutz garantieren, auch den Moabitern, den Feinden Israels.
Wie ein sanftmütiges Lamm tritt Jesus in die Welt und nach Jerusalem ein, um seine bedingungslose und universelle Liebe anzubieten. Mit einem Esel erinnert er sich demütig an die alten messianischen Verheißungen. Noch heute sind wir berufen, sein Kommen vorzubereiten und durchzuführen, indem wir uns in allem auf Ihn beziehen.
